Almost There!!!

Boco Tea is almost up and running!  We have ordered 98% of our herbs and all of the supplies we need to make and sell our tea.  Once we get everything in, we will be ready to sell!

Forest busting into a huge box of herbs.
In fact, our living room feels a bit like a warehouse right now.  On the plus side, our apartment smells amazing!

Buckets full of herbs.

Biodegradable bags.
Last week we ordered over 100 pounds of herbs, green tea, and black tea.  Since our main source for ingredients was out of a few things, we had to find alternate companies to order a few things.  We also still need to finalize our rooibos, and lemon myrtle order.  Once the herbs arrive, we put them in food safe buckets to keep the herbs fresh for as long as possible.  After that, the hard work begins.

Black Peppercorns.

Some of the herbs need to be crushed to a specific size before we can blend tea with them.  This is done by hand.  Then, we are finally ready to blend some tea!

Our first large scale batch of Chamomile Lime tea was a success!

All of this needs to be done by July 28th- the first day of the Rocky Mountain Tea Festival.  We have signed up to have a booth, where we will be selling all of our teas to people at the market.  In preparation for this, we bought a 10x10 canopy and have been working on how we want our booth to look.

Fun with our stickers.

Who knew how much work it would take to bring you guys tea.  Good thing we love our work!
