After a great experience at the Rocky Mountain Tea Festival in July, spirits were high. Unfortunately, our Summer and Fall were full of speed bumps and obstacles that brought Boco Tea to a standstill. After months of stress, we finally solved our issues and were able to focus on making and selling tea again.
There are lots of exciting things going on at Boco Tea these days! Since the business is setup and the recipes are perfected, most of our energy is being devoted to building a presence and clientel in Boulder. Here is a short list...
- The website is finally up! Check it out at www.bocotea.com. There is a free "shipping" option for those who can pick it up in person. If you live close to boulder, just use any Boulder, Colorado zip code and the site will offer a free "shipping" option. By free "shipping", we mean you can pick it up at an agreed upon location and time(usually Movement Climbing and Fitness).
- We applied for a Saturday spot at the Boulder Farmer's Market. We should know by the first week of March if we got accepted. Fingers crossed!!!
- We are starting to approach local cafes and stores in the hopes that some of them will be interested in selling our tea. If anyone reading this has a business that would like to host our teas, please let us know. It would be amazing to see our tea being sold at some local establishments!
- Finally, we sent some samples to a natural foods distributer who may be able to help us reach a broader group of customers.
